Double Entry is an incremental game, inspired by Cookie Clicker, about balancing the scales between the souls going to  Heaven and Hell. The game is set up like a book, Heaven's ledger on the left, Hell's on the right. Between them, the scales of balance. You hire workforces for both sides, judge souls, and grow Grace and Sin. Everything grows faster the more in balance they are. But beware, if one side outdoes the other, you might find yourself facing conflict.

How to play:
Attempting to keep a balance between Heaven and Hell leads to a 3x bonus on production on both sides, but failing to maintain that balance lowers it, while risking one side becoming dominant.

Your first few minutes:
In standard incremental fashion, click. Click Bless on the left to grow Grace, Damn on the right to grow Sin. Both grow souls used for either side (up to the cap).

Hire Almsclerks or Imps to grow Grace or Sin, but they cost souls, so don't go to quickly.

Watch the Harmony on the scales of balance in the center. Try and keep it centered for fastest production, but Hell, being... well.. Hell... isn't always playing nice, it drifts on production every so often, so the scales will drift as well and require fine tuning for perfect balance.

As you earn Grace or Sin, you'll unlock new workers. They might produce more Grace or Sin than previous levels of workers, or they might grow souls, one even takes some of the power of the other side and converts it to it's own power.

If you find one side falling behind (or, maybe, you really like one side), you can offer up some souls to The Powers That Be to gain power for that one side.

Other than that, it's simple, grow power, maintain the Scales, buy Edicts to increase Productivity that run... or hire saints or The Archfiend and call for a Reckoning, earn Verdicts which last through all runs while earning a bonus to either side for the next run.

Oh... and that balance... if you fail to keep it, you'll see a Crusade or a Cataclysm. It'll pay out hugely in power for the dominant side, but the other side will refuse to work until it can recover.

Note: The game should play just fine without you... feel free to switch tabs or come back later entirely. I hope you enjoy my first finished foray into an incremental.
